Cooking three meals a day, day in and day out is daunting. Who am I fooling? Cooking a meal every other day is a challenge. I like the idea that we need food at least three times a day, but taking care of that idea can be overwhelming—and I don’t even have to fillet the meat, build the fire or haul the water.
Cooking is a task loved by some, dreaded by many. I don’t necessarily like to cook, but I do love the effects good cooking has on a family (it has medicinal-like properties), therefore I cook. Thankfully cooking can be a learned skill and doesn’t have to be a natural gift.
