What's For Supper?

 

½ cup shortening

½ cup butter

1 ½ cup sugar

2 eggs

2 ¾ cups flour

2 tsp cream of tarter

1 tsp soda

¼ tsp salt

 

2 Tbsp sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

 

Cream shortening, butter, sugar and eggs.  Add dry ingredients and mix well.  Chill dough and roll dough into walnut sized balls.  Roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture.  Place 2 inches apart on a lightly greased cookie sheet.  Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes until lightly brown, but still soft.
